Examination An initial physiotherapy consultation to assess your problem will usually last up to an hour, in which your physiotherapist will complete a comprehensive evaluation of your problem through specific questioning and examination. | What to wear | To ensure a thorough detailed examination can be made, whilst maintaining your comfort, it would help if you could attend appointments with the following clothing. Females Vest top or a sports bra, shorts and trainers. Males T shirt, shorts and trainers | Plan Once a diagnosis has been established, a treatment plan will be developed. This will take into account any specific aims and objectives you may have. Treatment Subsequent follow-up consultations will usually last up to 30 minutes. Most insurers require a doctor to recommend physiotherapy, so you may need to arrange an appointment with your GP to start with. At your 1st consultation bring your membership details, authorisation number and any excess relating to your policy. |
