Halton Physiotherapy - Statement regarding Coronavirus (Covid-19)

The health, wellbeing and safety of our clients is always our first priority and we appreciate that you may be concerned about the Covid-19 virus.  We want to reassure you that we are following the advice that the government is currently giving to the public.  In addition, we have increased our usual hygiene procedures to ensure:

  • All contacted surfaces are regularly cleaned with approved alcohol sterilisation wipes (including pens, door handles, light switches, card machine keypads, etc.)

  • 70% Alcohol hand sanitiser is used by our therapists after each client and is also available to use by our clients.

  • If you feel unwell please act and call the clinic to postpone your appointment to a future date - 01296 622007

The government’s general personal advice is:

  • Carry tissues with you and if you cough or sneeze cover your mouth and nose with a tissue (or a sleeve or into the crook of an elbow. Put used tissues in the bin straight away.

  • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water often – use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available. See hand washing guidance.

  • Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

  • Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean (including after touching a surface which could be contaminated, such as a doorknob, toilet seat or after shaking hands).

With the situation changing on a daily basis, we ask that all our clients adhere to the latest government advice which can be accessed via https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/.

Thank you for your cooperation.
